Heavy Series chains incorporate the usual Renold performance-enhancing features including solid bushings, ball drifted plate holes, shot peening, and optimum interference fits. The gearing dimensions of Heavy Series chain are identical to our standard ANSI single-strand chains and will run on standard sprockets. The larger transverse pitch of double- and triple-strand chains with heavy-duty side plates (H or HV Series) require special sprockets.
