- Type 27 depressed center silicon carbide grinding wheels are strong and tough. Reinforced with fiberglass they resist breaking from twisting, starting torque, and lateral pressures. They can be used on the toughest concrete and masonry applications. For easiest disc removal use flange 49-05-0041 and disc nut 49-05-0051 (1/2-13) or 49-05-0051 (5/8-11) depending on the spindle of the grinder being used.
