• Large, stable working platform 14 1/2" wide by 19 3/4" deep locks ladder in place when open
• Top rail guard: aluminum cross brace serves as a railing for working from the platform
• Tie rods and truss blocks: each step fortified with plated steel rods, metal truss blocks and securely nailed
• the rods are secured through plated steel washers on outside of ladder rails
• Back rungs: heavy 1 1/8" back rungs on 12" centers minimize twisting and walking
• rungs made of hickory, oak, or ash and supported at bottom with heavy-duty, plated steel braces
• Pinch-resistant inside spreader braces: heavy-duty plated steel spreader braces with double rivet hinge to protect user from pinched finges
• mounted with steel backup washers to ensure easy action and protect ladder rails
• Rail dimensions: front and back rails with radiused edges and grooved steps hold up under daily use
• side rails are 1" x 3 1/2" in front and 1" x 2 1/2" in back
