- Stayput hose clamps are easy-to-use and economical. Snubber tools should be used to make the proper attachment. Clamps may be removed with a standard wire cutter. The correct clamp diameter should be larger than the hose OD hose up to and including 3/4" size requires a clamp 1/8" larger. 1" hose requires a clamp 1/4" larger than the outside hose diameter.
