• Body Hammers are drop forged from high carbon steel, heat treated, quenched and have tempered heads. They have a burnt lacquer finish, Grade B (or better), and Hickory wooden handles or cushion grip fiberglass handles. The hammer was one of the basic hand tools around which the body and fender repair trade was developed. This dinging hammer is for light dinging and long reach. The square face permits dinging close to molding or beading. Faces, 1 ¼” round, 1 1/16” square head 6” overall.
